Edmundo Hidalgo is the Vice President of Outreach Partnerships at Arizona State University where he leads efforts to improve individual and collective economic prosperity through education. In this role, Edmundo is responsible for Access ASU, a suite of programs which serve to prepare college-going students for higher education. This year, Access ASU anticipates serving 100,000 students, families and educators.
Prior to this post, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) from 2008 to 2015. During that time, CPLC expanded services locally and into New Mexico and Nevada. He has served as Chair of the Maricopa County Community Colleges Foundation; Treasurer of Sonoran Bank; and member of the Dudley Ventures Advisory Board, Morrison Institute, Desert Botanical Gardens, and numerous more community causes.
Edmundo was the 2016 Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Man of the Year, ASU Los Diablos Alumni 2016 Man of the Year, and was named one of Hispanic Business Magazine’s Top 50 Most Influential Hispanics in the Country in 2014.
