Valle del Sol started as a social justice organization in 1970, founded by activists who believed Latino communities deserved more than charity—they deserved agency. Profiles of Success emerged from that same foundation, creating a platform where Arizona's Latino leaders receive the recognition they've earned through acts of service to our shared community.

Community Voices Shape Our Honorees

Anyone in Arizona can submit a nomination for Profiles of Success by sharing the story of someone whose work transformed lives in their community. Our selection committee reviews each submission for demonstrated impact, sustained commitment, and contributions that strengthen our communities.

The process ensures honorees represent genuine excellence rather than political connections or corporate influence, keeping recognition rooted in real community impact.
