About the Profiles of Success Leadership Awards Dinner
Discover Our 30+ Year History of Celebration and Recognition
Valle del Sol launched Profiles of Success in the early 1990s when our founders recognized that local Latino leaders were building schools, transforming healthcare access, creating jobs, and strengthening communities across Arizona. Yet, their contributions rarely received formal recognition.
Our civil rights roots taught us that visibility matters, representation matters, and creating platforms for excellence is as important as providing direct services.
What started as a single awards dinner has grown into Arizona's most anticipated celebration of Latino leadership. Each year, we honor individuals whose decades of service demonstrate what's possible when dedication meets opportunity.
Who Does Profiles of Success Recognize?
Winners come from Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Yuma, and smaller communities statewide. Some hold advanced degrees from prestigious universities, while others learned leadership through lived experience and community organizing. What unites them is sustained commitment to making Arizona better for Latino families and all Arizonans.

What It Means to Our Honorees
Recognition extends far beyond the awards ceremony.
